Prayer Confession for Community Outreach: Gas Giveaway
Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude and reverence. As we make plans to be a blessing to our community, we are reminded of the words of Jesus in Acts 20:35: "It is more blessed to give than to receive." Father, we embody this truth by generously giving our time, resources, and love to those in need. Open our hearts to share our blessings with others, knowing that in doing so, we honor You. We receive Your guidance and grace to be instruments of Your love, peace, and light in not only our community but to all You send to us. Father, we thank You for the ability to discern the needs of our neighbors, the empathy to understand their struggles, and the compassion to extend a helping hand. Worship Life Church walks according to the fruit of the spirit, and we put aside all judgment and preconceived notions of those we serve. The Phoenix area WILL know us by our love.
Through Your strength, we are making a positive impact in our community. According to Proverbs 11:11, "Through the blessing of the upright, a city is exalted, but by the mouth of the wicked, it is overthrown." Lord, we are that blessing in our city, causing it to be exalted.
We come against any spirit that is not of You that would try to interfere, derail, or confuse our Kingdom assignment to be salt and light. We cancel every assignment of the wicked one, and we say we are victorious in all of our efforts! We dispatch angels today to go before us and prepare the hearts of all that come to get gas on December 31st. We thank You for ordered steps and open hearts, ready to receive Your love. We decree that every person is the RIGHT PERSON because we know that there are no accidents in the Kingdom. We call forth salvations in the name of Jesus. We thank You for miracles, for answered prayers, and for divine interventions! We thank You for yet another opportunity to co-labor with You and encounter Your presence, equip believers and build community.
Father, we declare that we raise more than enough money to successfully accomplish our goal! We thank You for the spirit of generosity that rests on Worship Life Church. We consistently plant seed on good, fertile ground, and we thank You for opening the windows of heaven and pouring out blessings that we don’t have room enough to receive. We thank You that each member of Worship Life Church understands 2 Corinthians 9:7 which reads, "Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver." We are cheerful givers! Father, we pray that the gas prices continue to fall, that our efforts may have an even further reach! Favor us in this area! And we thank You for favor with the owners and managers of both gas stations.
We are a unified church, and there is nothing that we can’t accomplish together. Let our actions serve as a beacon of hope and reconciliation in a world often divided by differences. We pray James 3:17, that we may be peacemakers, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere. Let our actions and words reflect Your character, O Lord. We thank You for Your protection as we embark on this gas giveaway! May Your light shine through us, bringing love, joy, and transformation to those we encounter. In Jesus name, we pray in faith, amen!
